The Mile High Music Festival has been moved to Aug. 14-15
The Mile High Music Festival just made a very smart move.
It was just announced that the annual music fest just changed its dates from Mid-July to Aug. 14-15. Colorado may be in the middle of its monsoon season that time of year, but rain is much better than 100 degree heat to watch your favorite bands!
The promoters at AEG cited July’s hot weather and a desire to postpone the festival until after Lollapalooza — so they might be able to score some of the acts– as a reason for the move.
Interestingly enough, the FMQB annual Triple A Conference will be taking place in Boulder Aug. 11-14, so maybe some of the Mile High acts will play the 2010 music summit.
And AEG was working with Rothbury, but since that festival was canceled, it will probably open up the talent pool for Mile High. There are lots of interesting variables that could come into play.
The Mile High line-up won’t be revealed until March, so stay tuned.
