The Dave Matthews Band announced its summer tour schedule and guess what city was mysteriously left off the list?
Starting May 27, the Dave Matthews Band is setting off on a very extensive summer tour schedule. The newer band line-up will be hitting national hot spots like Madison Square Garden in NYC, the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas — and the Gorge Ampitheatre in Washington state.
Wait – no mention of Denver?
Yep. While the DMB is schedule to play nearby Albuquerque on May 5, the tour roster doesn’t mention any dates in Denver. However, there are a few gaps in the schedule. Does this mean the band has some special dates planned for the Denver market or has the band played here one too many times and decided to bail on Colorado?
Last summer the DMB headlined the Mile High Music Festival, but this year’s Denver fest runs July 18-19 — the same days that the DMB plays Wisconsin.
Regardless, the DMB will be touring nationally to promote its new CD — that’s still not titled. The record’s due to drop on June 2 and was produced by Rob Cavallo — as in Green Day and My Chemical Romance.
