Gov't Mule set to play the Wanee Festival

Two more summer music festivals were just announced — and they come from opposite ends of the musical spectrum.

For starter. Pitchfork Media just announced that the Pitchfork Media Festival will take place July 17-19. in Chicago’s Union Park. In past years, the fest has brought in acts like Vampire Weekend, the Decemberists, the Hold Stready and Animal Collective.

The bands haven’t been posted yet, but you can go to www.pitchforkmusicfestival.com to get updates about bands and events taking place at the summer fest.

That’s not all.

The Allman Brothers just announced the line-up for their fifth annual Wanee Festival. The summer music party will take place June 5-6 in Live Oak, Florida.

The bros have already put together this line-up of acts: The Allman Brothers, Gov’t Mule, Umphrey’s McGee, The Wailers, Drive-By Truckers, Bill Kreutzmann and Keller Williams.
