Fall Out Boy and Bruce Springsteen are both getting ready to perform for televised Super Bowl events –and they both announced their spring tour schedule — with stops in Denver.
Is this a coincidence?
I think not.
Fall Out Boy kicks off the Super Bowl week by performing on the Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash. The concert takes place on VH1 Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Other acts on the bill include Rihanna and Lifehouse.
The band just announced April 14 and 15 shows at the Fillmore in Denver. Tickets are $38.50-$41.
The boss is back.
He’s played for the new president, now Bruce Springsteen is slated to play the half-time of this Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Locals can watch the game and Springsteen’s half-time show on the big screen of the Boulder Theater Sunday. The game kicks off at 2 p.m. and it’s free admission at the theater.
Springsteen will be hitting Denver — with the E Street Band — on Friday, April 10.
Tickets go on sale Monday, Feb. 2 — so, you’ll be in post Super Bowl bliss when you buy your tix. Actually, the Springsteen tix are pretty reasonable for a Pepsi Center show of this caliber — $43-$99.
Stay tuned — the concert season’s just starting!
