Dave Navarro to play Aspen Friday

Dave Navarro never has a lack of projects. Whether he’s rocking out with bands  (Jane’s Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers), or hosting TV shows, the musician has managed to keep a high-profile in the entertainment business.

Friday, Navarro  will be joined by  J-Mello –  son of Kool and the Gang co-founder Charles Smith – at a special benefit gig up in Aspen.

 The duo will be showing off the latest track from its “Rock Tape” collaboration at the Aspen Youth Experience’s premiere party for the Aspen Celebrity Downhill Weekend.

The Aspen Youth Experience event is being held to aid at-risk youths.

Navarro and  J-Mello will be performing Friday at the nightclub Junk/Liquid Sky in Snowmass Village, Aspen.
