Modest Mouse -- concerts at the Balch again!!!
The CU Program Council shoots –and scores.
After announcing a Matisyahu date at CU, the campus entertainment board announced that indie rock faves Modest Mouse will be hitting the Balch Fieldhouse on Feb. 28.
It’s been a long time since a band’s played the CU Fieldhouse, so this is a sweet victory for PC and campus.
Tickets go on sale on the band’s website Thursday — tomorrow. Or, you can wait to get them on the official sale date — Saturday, Jan 31. The concert promoter AEG just announced that tickets will be going for $35 a pop.
Showtime is Saturday, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. Mimicking Birds is opening the concert.
The Program Council says they have a few more shows to announce this semester.
