Ok, it’s not easy to sing the “Star Spangled Banner,” but you can at least memorize the words.
Singing diva Christina Aguilera created her own version of the national anthem at Sunday’s Super Bowl game — and it became the Twitter sensation of the day.
Aguilera spent a lot of time on her vibratos, but when it came to the line, “O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming,” the singer had a brain melt and came up with another line.
Aguilera’s new addition to the national anthem was, “What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last streaming.” Twilight? Was she watching one too many vampire films before the game?
Word is, this will go down in Super Bowl history. Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction’s not looking too bad after flubbing the national anthem.
