Jeff Buckley's birthday was Nov. 17, so local band Your Sweet Return's playing a special tribute show at the b.side Lounge tonight.
There’s no doubt that singer/songwriter Jeff Buckley was an amazing performer that passed way before his time.
That’s why Colorado and national artists set aside Buckley’s birthday (Nov. 17) to perform tribute shows. Buckley only had one full-length record out –”Grace”, but there’s plenty of bootleg projects for band’s to cover in concert.
Tonight, Boulder band Your Sweet Return is playing a special Jeff Buckley tribute show at the b.side Lounge . Opening the show will be local faves Gregory Alan Isakov and Dechen Hawk playing a special Buckley tribute set.
Last night in LA, the famed Largo club also held a Buckley tribute night. The show featured nationally-known peformer Rocco DeLuca and guests. There were also tribute shows held other places in the U.S. and around the world yesterday.
Good music is timeless.
