DeVotchKa’s Nick Urata Scores Music for “I Love You Phillip Morris”. Free Movie Showing Dec. 1 at CU

Nick Urata of DeVotchKa scored the soundtrack of "I Love You Phillip Morris"

 Nick Urata from  DeVotchKa is making a name for himself in the world of film scoring.

The Colorado musician and his band worked on the music for “Little Miss Sunshine,” but Urata’s branching out and going solo on some film projects.  The DeVotchKa frontman composed the soundtrack for the new Jim Carrey Film ” I Love You Phillip Morris.”

It took awhile for the movie to get released in the states, but it’s finally here!

The national release date for “I Love You Phillip Morris” is Dec. 3, but Boulder gets a sneak preview Wednesday. The new film will be shown for free  at CU’s Chem 140. Find out more info about the free tix at www.programcouncil.com
