DeVotchKa plays Denver's Mercury Cafe for New Year's
News on Boulder and Denver New Year’s Eve concerts is still rolling in.
DeVotchKa packed in fans for its two Halloween shows at the Boulder Theater and the band just announced its very surprising locale for its New Years concerts.
Yes, DeVotchKa will be playing the Mercury Cafe in Denver on Dec. 30 and 31st for three different shows. There will be an all-ages show on Dec. 30 at 2:30 p.m. and an evening show at 9 p.m. The Dec. 31 New Year’s Eve show starts at 9 p.m. Both shows feature opening act Gregory Alan Isakov.
Back in the day, the Mercury used to host lots of national indie acts, so its nice to see the venue reviving the music. It’s also great to see DeVotchKa playing a not-so-typical club to ring in 2010.
Better get your tickets fast, ’cause these will sell out.
