Everybody loves a free concert!
That's why students and locals will be heading over to CU's Glenn Miller Ballroom to catch the free Miramontes Music and Arts Festival concert. The event is being sponsored by the CU Program Council and campus group CEB.

Triple A Radio conference -- Thursday night 8/06
The musical evening got started off to an interesting start, as my good bicycle got a rare flat tire, so I had to take the "junker" bike up to the Hill, but I made it there in time to catch the free outdoor Hill acts for the Triple A radio conference.

Pretty Lights Headlines Free New Student Welcome Concert: Aug. 22 on CU’s Farrand Field

The University of Colorado Program Council just announced the headliner for its New Student Welcome Concert -- and its Fort Collins producer Pretty Lights. The concert will take place on Farrand Field Aug. 22.
I had a feeling this show was in the pipe-line, but it couldn't be announced until after Pretty Lights played his July Red Rocks show with STS9.
