It's debatable about what's going to happen to Boulder's b.side Lounge, but the local venue's been bringing in some amazing musical acts.
Last night, "Twilight" soundtrack star Bobby Long visited the club and he made a hit with the intimate-sized audience.
Although Long's shaggy hair kept masking his face, the artist didn't seem to mind as he plowed into a [+]

Boulder is famous for its Halloween weekend concerts and costume parties, and this year the holiday shows ran from Thursday through Saturday.
The local venues didn't go all out with Halloween decorations, but they did treat locals to some very interesting shows.
Last Thursday, Dinosaur Jr. rocked out the Boulder Theater with its brand of hard-edged alternative sounds. The band members sounded better than ever, as they infused '90s-style grunge [+]

It was a wild weekend of music in Boulder, but even with guests in town I managed to check out some very interesting shows that ranged from rock theatrics to comedy.
The Mutaytor: The rock-meets-theater show played the Fox last Thursday and this act has evolved into a whole new animal.
The Mutaytor used to be side-show acts -- like people with [+]

[caption id="attachment_2706" align="aligncenter" width="448" caption="Coolio's still in shock after his Boulder show"][/caption]
The minute rapper Coolio finished his set at The Goose, the crowd made a stampede for the door.
It was too late.
Word had already spread throughout the Hill and downtown about Coolio's really late, short and unbelievably sound-challenged set.
Last week, locals were surprised to hear that rapper Coolio was playing Boulder's Goose on Saturday. The doors of the Hill club were set to open after [+]
