Wilco's ready to roll with lots of new music projects

Wilco’s been around the block a few times — and the band knows the nature of the music business.  So, when the group found out that music from its new CD “Wilco” got leaked out to the public, the band came up with a good plan.

Now, the band’s posting a stream of the full album at www.wilcoworld.net

Wilco is just asking for a little good karma in return.

The band is asking fans that download “Wilco” to make a donation to one of its favorite charities — the Inspiration Corporation.  The group helps hundreds of homeless and low-income individuals learn skills they can use in the work force and helps them become self-sufficient.

You can find out more about this organization at www.inspirationcorp.org.

Wilco has even more news for its fans — the band will be hosting a free on-line midnight showing of its rockumentary “Ashes of American Flags” this Friday  — May 15 — at both midnight Central time and again and midnight Pacific time. Go to www.wilcoworld.net/tours/  to find out more about the free showing and this summer’s tours.
