
Eminem plays his first full performance of 2009 at Halloween's Voodoo Experience 2009
Big-time music festivals aren’t limited to the summer months. New Orleans host its annual Voodoo Experience every Halloween weekend — and this year’s line-up is eerily good.
The music is fest is set for Oct. 30 – Nov. 1 and the Crescent City will be rocking with this ultimate muisc weekend.
For starters, Eminem will be coming back from the dead – and he’ll playing his first full performance of 2009 at the Voodoo fest. The roster also features headlining acts Jane’s Addiction, Widespread Panic, The Flaming Lips, Justice — and KISS. Of course Gene Simmons and his crew don’t even have to pick out their Halloween costumes.
Other bands on the line-up include Gogol Bordello, Robert Randolph, MOFRO, Drive-By Truckers, Eagles of Death Metal, The Pogues, Ween, Silversun Pickups and more. The grand total is 150 bands.
