Umphrey's McGee ready to release new DVD "Live."
Umphrey’s McGee is going to have a very busy summer.
The band’s been taking its fusion of electronic and rock sounds to new heights, and now the group’s set to release a new DVD “Umphrey’s McGee: Live.”
The project features a 13-song set — including six favorites not shown during the band’s PBS “Soundstage” special. The DVD goes on sale June 2.
Umphrey’s is also looking forward to the European release of “Mantis.”
This summer, Umphrey’s McGee is set to play the Wanee Festival, the High Sierra festival, Rothbury, the All Good Music Festival and the 100,000 Lakes fest.
Umphrey’s is also set to play Colorado’s Mishawaka Amphitheatre on Sept. 4.
