The Decemberists play a sold out Wednesday show at the Boulder Theater
The Decemberists have turned a new page with their music.
The Portland, Oregon band’s new CD “The King Is Dead” took a 180 degree spin from its last record. This time around, The Decemberists delivered a rootsy, acoustic record and the new sound fits the band. It will really work when the group plays this summer’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival slot.
The Decemberists have a loyal Colorado following and Wednesday’s show at the Boulder Theater is sold out.
