Rodrigo y Gabriela play Denver Sept. 19
Rodrigo y Gabriela are getting ready to tour the U.S. behind their brand new CD “11:11.”
They say magical things happen when you see the numbers 11:11, so maybe that energy will rub off on the new CD. The album was recorded in Mexico and was produced by Rodrigo y Gabriela.
The CD features 11 new compositions, and the guitar duo pays homage to 11 great musicians –past and present — who have inspired Rodrigo y Gabriela. The CD drops on Sept. 8.
It’s been three years since Rodrigo y Gabriela have released a new record, so fans are anxiously waiting for the new project. I heard a cut off the new record at last month’s Triple A radio conference and it indicated that this record’s gonna be a keeper.
Rodrigo y Gabriela are hitting the road this fall and the act plays the Buell Theatre in Denver on Sept. 19.
