Michael Franti plays Red Rocks Saturday and shows off tunes from his new CD
Michael Franti had a musical awakening after he went through an emergency appendectomy last summer.
It’s all good. Franti got a new lease on life and started writing the upbeat songs for his upcoming album “The Sound of Sunshine” from his hospital room.
The musician’s in fine shape now,and he’s raring to set out on his summer tour — and play the positive new songs off the new CD.
Saturday, Franti and his band Spearhead play the amazing Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. That will be the perfect place for this uplifting concert!
