The summer tour season is on a roll!

Green Day just announced the dates for its North American Tour — and Denver made the cut. AFI will be opening the tour. This is the second leg of the band’s tour in support of the CD, “21st Century Breakdown.” If you saw the band’s recent VH1 concert, you know this is going to be a kick-ass show!

Yes, Green Day will be rocking out the newly renamed Comfort Dental Amphitheater on Aug. 28 — and tix go on sale this Saturday!

Green Day decided to be very cool about its ticket pricing, so all the shows will feature an all-inclusive flat rate pricing. That means a limited number of lawn seats will be offered for $20 when tickets go on sale to the general public.

And  — there’s more news for Green Day fans: The stage version of the band’s “American Idiot” opens April 20th at the St. James Theatre on Broadway.
