The Black Eyed Peas Headline Jazz Aspen

Jazz Aspen is going all out this year.

Colorado’s Labor Day Music party is held from Sept. 4-6 at the Snowmass Town Park,  and this year’s line-up is going to be worth the drive!

Michael Franti will be well-recuperated from his appendectomy, so Franti and Spearhead will headline the Sept. 4 concert at Jazz Aspen. Citizen Cope opens the show.

Then, the Black Eyed Peas make their Jazz Aspen debut on Sept. 5. No doubt, the band will be cranking out its hot single “Boom Boom Pow.”  Umphrey’s McGee is also set to play the Saturday show.

Jazz Aspen finishes up the weekend, with a Sunday show featuring the Allman Brothers and Drive-By Truckers.

OK, this is not exactly a jazz line-up, but who cares?
