The Black Eyed Peas Score Super Bowl Halftime Show on Feb. 6. Band’s New CD “The Beginning” Released Nov. 30

The Black Eyed Peas will play the Superbowl halftime show

It’s about time that a cool, contemporary band earned the honor of playing the half-time show at the Super Bowl.

Yes, this year’s Super Bowl  halftime party will feature The Black Eyed Peas. This was a very good call.

Past halftime shows have featured U2, Bruce Springsteen, The Who and Tom Petty, but hello it’s almost 2011 and time for a hot, modern band to take the  stage.

The Black Eyed Peas will show off their stuff at the Super Bowl on Feb. 6 at the Cowboy’s Stadium. The arena’s located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. The game airs on the Fox network, so check your local listings.

It’s perfect timing for The Black Eyed Peas, as the band’s new CD “The Beginning” drops this Tuesday.

Guess we know what we’ll  be watching on Feb. 6. Who cares about the game — bring on The Black Eyed Peas!
